The dropout rate of girls is reducing because of the interventions.

As a community education mentor, I have seen a positive change in the number of girls staying in school. Through community dialogue meetings, mentorship, and follow-ups with parents, girls are now encouraged to continue their education instead of dropping out.

Parents are more aware of the value of education, and early marriages are decreasing. The PRETTIER Project is creating a generation of confident and empowered girls.

ABOUT THE PRETTIER PROJECT

Implemented by SPACE in partnership with RICE – West Nile and funded by the European Union, the PRETTIER Project aims to prevent teenage pregnancy and build the economic resilience of out-of-school girls and adolescent mothers by equipping them with life skills, vocational training, mentorship, and access to education.
